In Malaysia, about one million children have been fully vaccinated against Covid-19.

About 1M children have been fully vaccinated.

As of Tuesday, 1,131,326 children aged 5 to 11 had been fully vaccinated under the Covid-19 National Immunization Programme for Children (PICKids), accounting for 31.9 percent of all children in the country (May 24).

According to the CovidNOW website, a total of 1,683,567 children have gotten at least one dose of vaccination, accounting for 47.5 percent of the group.

Under PICKids, children must receive their first dose of Covid-19 vaccination by May 31.

A total of 2,910,553 or 93.5 percent of adolescents aged 12 to 17 years are fully vaccinated, while 3,007,101 or 96.6 percent have gotten at least one dose of vaccine.

Meanwhile, 16,084,603 adults (68.4%) have received a booster dose, 22,973,173 adults (97.6%) have received two doses, and 23,249,459 adults (98.8%) have received at least one dose of Covid-19 vaccine.

In terms of daily doses, 3,809 first doses, 3,945 second doses, and 2,129 booster doses of Covid-19 vaccine were delivered yesterday, bringing the total vaccine dosage administration through the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme (PICK) to 70,826,089.

Meanwhile, the Health Ministry’s Github portal recorded two Covid-19-related deaths in Malaysia yesterday, both in Johor.
