URUS loan repayment assistance program has officially opened for applications

15/11/2021

The URUS loan repayment assistance program has officially opened applications. If you still face difficulties in repaying the loan, you can apply to your respective bank.

To reduce the living burden of low-income groups, B50 low-income groups can participate in financial management and flexibility plans (URUS). Through this plan, borrowers can waive loan interest for 3 months, reduce monthly installment payments for up to 24 months, and lower loan interest rates.

However, the application conditions for URUS are very strict, that is, the applicant must be an unemployed person or a person whose income has decreased by at least 50%. Applicants must also be people who are in financial difficulties. In addition, the government has reopened the economy, so there will be fewer eligible borrowers.

The banking industry estimates that only 20% of borrowers meet the application requirements, instead of the 50% of borrowers predicted by the government. If you are a beneficiary of BANTUAN PRIHATIN RAKYAT (BPR) or BANTUAN PRIHATIN RAKYAT (BSH), you do not need to show proof of income when you apply. Other applicants need to show proof of family income.

The borrower applying for URUS must also be a user currently enjoying loan assistance.
