Meteorological Department issued a yellow-level weather forecast at 1:00 noon on February 6 for persistent rainfall in several states in the country. Affected states include Sabah, Pahang and Johor.
Sandakan and Kudat in Sabah will experience persistent rainfall until February 6. Pahang’s Rompin and Johor’s Mersing and Kota Tinggi will experience persistent rainfall from February 7 to 8.
Meteorological Department will issue a yellow level warning once a region experiences more than 6 hours of persistent rainfall.
If you are from Johor, Pahang and Sabah, remember to prepare rain gear before going out.
