Notice! Maybank will implement new security measures from October 31. When Secure2u is enabled on new mobile phones, it will need to be activated through Maybank ATMs.
According to a message from Maybank, when users register for Secure2u for the first time or register to use Secure2u on a new mobile phone, they must go to a Maybank ATM within 30 days to activate Secure2u. This is one of Maybank’s measures to improve network security.
After users register Secure2u on their new mobile phones, users will receive pop-up notifications and SMS notifications from Maybank to activate Secure2u at a Maybank ATM within 30 days.
When activating Secure2u at a Maybank ATM, users need to bring a debit card, debit card or prepaid card. After arriving at the Maybank ATM, after inserting the bank card and entering the password, the user can select Secure2u Activation on the homepage, and then follow the on-screen instructions to complete the activation process.
After users activate Secure2u at a Maybank ATM, the system will have a 12-hour cooling-off period, and users must use Secure2u to verify transactions after 12 hours.
Notice! The new measures are only applicable to users who registered Secure2u on new mobile phones on or after October 31, and existing users will not be affected in any way
