According to Maybank’s official website, Maybank has decided to set April 2, 2024 as the deadline for submitting applications for MYFSA2u because of the overwhelming response. People interested in applying for MYFSA2u need to submit their applications before April 2nd.
MYFSA2u is a bank loan scheme that is backed by CPF Second Account deposits, the minimum loan amount for MYFSA2u is RM3,000 and the maximum loan amount is RM50,000, but it is still based on the CPF Second Account deposits.
The minimum loan tenure is 2 years and the maximum is 10 years or when the member reaches 55 years of age, whichever comes first. The interest rate for the loan is SBR+1.75% and today’s SBR is 3.00%, hence the loan rate is 4.75% p.a.. The MYFSA2u program is still only open for members aged 40 to 52 to apply.
Those who are interested in applying for MYFSA2u through Maybank2u can visit the Maybank2u website and click on Apply at the top right corner, then select the Loans section and locate the MYFSA2u program and click on Apply. Fill in the personal details and upload additional documents such as the applicant’s Malaysian Card, the applicant’s latest 3-monthly payslip or the EA Form.
