How to become a Premier Customer of your bank?

Various banks in the country have introduced Premier Customer (PC) service, which allows one to become a Premier Customer of the bank once the funds or cash held exceeds a specific amount.

Becoming a Premier Premium Customer entitles you to a number of benefits such as exclusive parking space, queue-free reception service, faster loan scrutiny process, etc.

Let’s take a look at the conditions to become a Premier customer of 10 banks in the country. The information is obtained from the official websites of the banks, and you can ask the banks directly for more details.

1. Maybank Premier
Have RM250,000 in cash or investments or RM1 million in financial assets with Maybank.

2. CIMB Preferred Banking
Have RM250,000 cash or investment in CIMB, or have a RM1,000,000 mortgage or business loan, or have a RM300,000 car loan.

3. Hong Leong Priority Banking
RM300,000 in assets with Hong Leong Bank, including savings account, time deposits, etc.

4. RHB Premier
RM200,000 in cash or investments with RHB or RM100,000 in cash/investments for 12 consecutive months plus loan/credit card customers with a monthly income of RM20,000 per month. Or a designated customer with RM20,000 monthly income for 12 consecutive months.

5. AmBank SIGNATURE Priority Banking
Customers who have RM200,000 in cash or investments or RM150,000 in investments with AmBank.

6. Alliance Bank Privilege Banking
Having RM300,000 or more in cash or investments with Alliance Bank or having a monthly payroll of more than RM16,000 through Alliance@Work.

7. Public Bank Red Carpet Banking
Have RM300,000 or more in deposits with Public Bank.

8. UOB Privilege Banking
Have RM500,000 in assets with UOB.

9. Standard Chartered Priority Banking
Have RM250,000 in cash or investments or RM1,000,000 in loans with Standard Chartered.

10. HSBC Premier
Have RM200,000 in deposits with HSBC or have a RM1,000,000 mortgage.
