With Hari Raya Aidilfitri expected to fall on April 10 and 11 this year, primary and secondary schools will be closed a few days earlier, which means they will start on April 5th and 6th.
Primary and secondary schools in Group A states (Kedah, Kelantan, Terengganu and Johor) will be able to enjoy the Eid al-Fitr school holiday from Friday, April 5 to Saturday, April 13, 2024, while primary and secondary schools in Group B states (other states) will be able to enjoy the Hari Raya Aidilfitri school holiday from Saturday, April 6 to Sunday, April 14, 2024.
The school holidays coincide with the Hari Raya Aidilfitrireturns and the traffic on the roads will surge during this period.
