To encourage people to use RFID to fill up their fuel at Shell stations, Touch ‘n Go eWallet is offering a cashback offer. When you fill up your car with RFID at Shell stations, you will receive RM10 cashback.
The condition of this offer is that you must fill up your car with fuel at RM50 to get RM10 cashback. The offer is limited to the first 25,000 transactions and is only available to first-time RFID refuelling customers.
Touch ‘n Go eWallet will announce the list of customers who will receive RM10 cashback every Thursday and customers will receive a notification from Touch ‘n Go eWallet.
RFiD method of refuelling your car means that you do not have to go to the petrol station counter or manually enter the information you want to refuel at the pump, the RFiD Reader at the petrol station will automatically detect the vehicle and read the RFiD Tag information of the vehicle. Upon arrival at the petrol station, the owner can simply lift the fuel gun and fill up the vehicle. The cost of the refuelling will be automatically deducted from the Touch ‘n Go eWallet.
You will need to activate this function in Touch ‘n Go eWallet when refuelling your car for the first time using the RFiD method. You can do this by opening the Touch ‘n Go eWallet and then clicking on the Shell icon to activate it. Once you have successfully activated this function, you can then go to the specific Shell station to refuel your car.
You will need to find a pump that supports the RFiD method of refuelling and watch the screen above. If the screen shows a yellow pump, the pump is ready and a green pump means you can start refuelling.
