From the past years, SSPN will announce the extra 1% bonus campaign when announcing the dividend, as long as the depositor deposits at least RM500 within the specified period, he/she will be entitled to the extra 1% bonus.
To qualify for the extra 1% bonus, you must open an SSPN account in the specified year. Last year, it was SSPN depositors who opened their accounts before December 31, 2019 were eligible for the 1% bonus, while this year, it may be SSPN depositors who opened their accounts before December 31, 2020 will be eligible for the bonus.
The 1% bonus will be calculated on the amount deposited by the depositor during the promotional period and the 1% bonus will be automatically credited to the depositor’s SSPN account at the end of the year.
Each depositor is entitled to a maximum of RM8,000 and each depositor must deposit a minimum of RM500 to be eligible for the bonus offer. Moreover, the deposits cannot be withdrawn from the SSPN account within the specified period or else the depositor will not be eligible for the 1% bonus.
