Toll fee on 2 highways will be reduced starting from Jan 1st.
According to a statement issued by the Minister of Works, Dato’ Seri Alexander, the BESRAYA and LEKAS toll fee will be reduced by 15 to 50 cents beginning at 12:01 a.m. on January 1, 2023.
The current toll fee for BESRAYA private cars and ordinary vehicles is RM2.00, but it will be reduced to RM1.85 beginning January 1, 2023.
The toll per kilometre at Tol Tertutup for LEKAS has been reduced from 0.1811 sen to 0.1666 sen.
The statement stated that the reduction in highway tolls is consistent with the cabinet meeting’s decision to restructure highway tolls on December 21.
