According to the 2022 school schedule of classes and holidays issued by the Ministry of Education, primary and secondary schools will enjoy a nine-day holiday from September 2/3 to September 10/11.
Primary and secondary schools in Kedah, Johor, Kelantan and Terengganu will have their second semester holidays from September 2 to September 10. As for the other states, the second semester holiday will be from September 3 to 11.
Schools in Group A states will start their third semester on September 11, while Group B states will start their third semester on September 12.
Group A: Kedah, Johor, Kelantan and Terengganu
Second semester school holidays: September 2 (Friday) – September 10 (Saturday)
Group B: Perlis, Penang, Perak, Selangor, Negeri Sembilan, Malacca, Pahang, Sabah, Sarawak, Kuala Lumpur, Labuan and Putrajaya
Second Semester School Holidays: September 3 (Sat) – September 11 (Sun)
