Would you buy an iPhone SE that costs more than RM2,000 and is not full-screen?

10/03/2022

Apple announced the third generation iPhone SE at its spring event on March 9, priced from as low as RM2,099, which is very attractive to those who want to own an iPhone despite their lack of financial means.

The third generation iPhone SE features the same form factor as the iPhone 8, with no bangs and only a 4.7-inch LCD screen. This iPhone SE is equipped with the same chip as the iPhone 13, which is the A15 processor and support for 5G networks.

I believe that many people are spitting the third generation iPhone SE design old-fashioned, and that Apple is still clear inventory. Many people think they can get a good Android phone for the price of iPhone SE, so why buy iPhone SE with only 4.7-inch screen and single camera?

But for those who can’t afford it but want to join the iPhone family, the iPhone SE is the best choice. iPhone SE not only offers iOS experience but also the highest-end A15 processor. iPhone SE is cheaper than iPhone 13 Mini which was released last year with the same processor.

According to research firm Omdia, the second-generation iPhone SE shipped more than 24 million units in 2020, making it Apple’s second best-selling model after the iPhone 11. So I believe the third generation iPhone SE sales will be quite impressive as well.

Would you consider the third generation of iPhone SE?
