Fast food must be the first choice of modern people. Presumably, everyone will often see long queues of people or cars outside the doors of fast food restaurants. And every time a fast food restaurant launches a new product, we can always see videos and news about bloggers trying new products or advertisements of the latest product discounts on social media. Among so many fast food franchises, which ones are local companies and which ones are nationwide companies?

1. McDonald’s
McDonald’s is an American fast food company, founded in 1940 as a restaurant operated by Richard and Maurice McDonald, in San Bernardino, California, United States.

2. KFC
KFC is an American fast food restaurant chain headquartered in Louisville, Kentucky that specializes in fried chicken. It is the world’s second-largest restaurant chain after McDonald’s.

3. Marrybrown
Marrybrown Sdn Bhd is a Malaysian-based halal-certified fast food restaurant chain established in 1981. It was the first local fast food chain to franchise its business in Malaysia with more than 198 restaurants locally.

4. Subway
Subway is an American multi-national fast food restaurant franchise that primarily sells submarine sandwiches, wraps, salads and beverages.

5. Domino’s Pizza
Domino’s Pizza, Inc. is an American multinational pizza restaurant chain founded in 1960 and led by CEO Richard Allison.

6. Pizza Hut
Pizza Hut is an American multinational restaurant chain and international franchise founded in 1958 in Wichita, Kansas by Dan and Frank Carney.

 

 

 

It seems that the eating habits of the United States are quite in line with the eating habits of Malaysia and even many other countries. That’s why these fast food chains have opened one after another around the world.
