Users of Shopee SPayLater will have to pay a monthly fee of 1.5%, per the information on the company’s official website. You must pay the 1.5% monthly fee whether you select Buy Now Pay Later or 2 to 12 monthly instalments.
Using the Buy Now Pay Later option for a single month in the past was free for everyone. Users of the so-called single-month Buy Now Pay Later method spend money this month and then settle their past-due debts when the bills are released the following month.
Notice! The monthly calculation of the 1.5% handling fee will take each order’s total value into account. For instance, if you paid RM15 for the item plus delivery, 1.5% will be deducted from that amount. You must pay RM0.225 for one month, which is 1.5% of RM15.
The SPayLater service will be restricted for those who have unpaid invoices. Prior to the account being unfrozen, users must pay the past-due bills. Users must also pay a RM10 Late Fee to activate their accounts.
