Unlicensed driver, age 19, lost control of his car in front of the Sungai Jarom police station, colliding with a parked car before hitting the station’s perimeter wall!

The incident happened last evening while the 19-year-old was driving his used Malaysian-made Perodua Myvi from Banting to Sungai Buaya Jenjarom, according to district police chief Ahmad Ridhwan Mohd. Nor @ Saleh.

He said in an interview with Kosmo! that the young man lost control of the Myvi when turning left, hitting the side of the road before slamming into a Perodua Bezza that was parked in front of the police station.

“Due to the powerful hit, the Myvi struck the Bezza and then slammed into the station’s outside wall. The young man operating the Myvi, nevertheless, did not sustain any serious wounds, and a urine test on him came up negative. The problem was that he did not have a license.

He further stated that Section 43 of the 1987 Road Transport Act would be used to examine the issue.

Therefore, the general public is asked to get in touch with Assistant Investigating Officer Sergeant Nur Farhana Abdullah at 013-2065466 or 03-3187222 if they have any information about the occurrence.
