Users will be able to use 5G network services beginning November 10, 2022, according to Digi. At this time, Digi’s 5G network service will be available to Digi Postpaid 90, Digi Postpaid 120, Digi Postpaid 150, and Digi Postpaid Family Unlimited customers.
If the package you signed up for is one of them, you can begin using 5G network services. On the contrary, you will have to wait a little longer, as Digi will gradually expand 5G network services to other packages.
In addition to ensuring that the package you choose supports the 5G network, you should also ensure that the area you live in has 5G network coverage. 5G network coverage is already available in major cities in Klang Valley, Johor, Negeri Sembilan, Penang, and Perak.
Furthermore, you must ensure that the mobile phone you are using supports 5G network services. Most flagship smartphones now support 5G network services. However, the iPhone is currently unable to use the domestic 5G network, and Apple must still push 5G software updates to users before they can begin using the 5G network.
If you fulfil all of the above requirements, open the MyDigi APP and select BUY ADD-ONS. Then select the RM0.00 5G Speed Booster option. You can begin using 5G network services after completing the Booster collection.
