The Meteorological Department has issued a thunderstorm warning for numerous parts of the country!
Thunderstorms are likely to occur in 13 states across the country, according to a meteorological forecast provided by the Meteorology Department at 2:40 p.m. on May 2.
Perlis, Kedah, Penang, Perak, Kelantan, Terengganu, Pahang, Selangor, Kuala Lumpur, Negeri Sembilan, Johor, Sabah, and parts of Sarawak are among the locations impacted.
People are being advised to stay away from roads that are prone to flash flooding.
When a region receives more than 20mm of rain per hour for more than an hour, the Meteorology Department will issue a warning.

8. Selangor (Hulu Selangor, Gombak dan Hulu Langat)
9. WP Kuala Lumpur
10. Negeri Sembilan (Jelebu, Kuala Pilah, Jempol dan Tampin)
11. Johor (Segamat, Kluang, Mersing, Kulai dan Kota Tinggi)
12. Sarawak: Kuching, Sri Aman, Betong (Betong), Sarikei (Pakan dan Julau), Sibu dan Kapit (Song)
13. Sabah: Pedalaman (Sipitang, Beaufort dan Tambunan), Pantai Barat (Ranau), Tawau (Kunak dan Lahad Datu), Sandakan (Kinabatangan) dan Kudat (Pitas dan Kudat)
