27/01/2022

The Klang Valley, North Sarawak, and northern Sabah will experience afternoon rain during Chinese New Year!

The Malaysia Meteorological Department issued a weather forecast from January 27 to February 2. The low-pressure system will be far away from Malaysia, which will cause hot and rainy weather in some areas.

The northern part of the peninsula such as Penang, Kedah, Perlis, and Perak, and the eastern part of the peninsula, Terengganu, Pahang, and Kelantan, will experience hot and less rainy weather in the coming week. People in these areas will have a hot Chinese New Year.

As for the northern parts of Sabah, northern parts of Sarawak, and the west coast of the peninsula such as Perak, Selangor, Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya, Negeri Sembilan, and Malacca, there will be rains in the afternoon. Thunderstorms are expected in these areas in the afternoon and early evening.
