The weather in various parts of the country has been unbearably hot recently, and people are urged to go to the hospital for treatment immediately if they develop any of the six symptoms.

According to a message from public health expert Datuk Zainal Ariffin, people should go to the hospital for treatment immediately when they develop 6 symptoms. The six symptoms include body temperature above 40 degrees Celsius, abnormal behavior, sweating, palpitations, nausea and vomiting.

In hot weather, people are urged to drink enough water to avoid dehydration. They can also avoid wearing thick clothes and take frequent showers to cool down.

According to the news issued by the Meteorological Bureau at 4:30 pm on April 6, 2024, a total of 6 regions across the country have received a second-level heat wave warning, and 38 areas have received a first-level heat wave warning.

When the highest temperature in an area is between 37 and 40 degrees Celsius for three consecutive days, the Meteorological Bureau will issue a Level 2 Heat Wave Warning for the local area. When the highest temperature in an area is between 35 and 37 degrees Celsius for three consecutive days, the Meteorological Bureau will issue a level one heat wave warning for the local area.
