The Unlimited plan of most telecom companies offer is not really Unlimited
Every telecom company in Malaysia has launched Unlimited plans, which boast Unlimited Internet access, meaning that users can surf and download as much as they want with no traffic limit. However, it is understood that these are not the real meaning of Unlimited, but the traffic limit.
For example, Hotlink Prepaid Unlimited RM35, this package offers 3Mbps connections and Unlimited dialing to all networks. However, when users use 50GB of data, the speed is reduced to 512kbps. Speed will be restored until next month’s update.
The Celcom Prepaid Truly Unlimited 30 days package also limits users to 100GB per month and may be limited to 512kbps once they exceed 100GB. It won’t be restored until it’s updated next month.
According to the details given by customers, Unlimited Plans U Mobile offers Unlimited Plans. That is really didn’t limit the data usage.
