The Sinovac booster dose will be available for walk-ins starting February 14!

12/02/2022

From February 14, the public can walk in and get the Sinovac booster dose!

Following Health Minister Carey’s declaration on February 7 that the public will be vaccinated with Sinovac booster doses, other off-site vaccination clinics (PPV Offsites) in our country will also give Sinovac booster doses, according to a statement released by ProtectHealth.

The public can go to the nearby vaccination center to receive the booster shot of the Sinovac vaccine from February 14 (Monday). Of course, this is only for those who received the first two doses of the Sinovac vaccine. If you receive the first two doses of another brand of vaccine, you are not allowed to receive the Sinovac booster shot.

Although the Ministry of Health has opened up for the public to be vaccinated with the Sinovac booster, the Ministry of Health still encourages the public to receive the Pfizer booster for higher protection.

The public can visit https://vaksincovid.protecthealth.com.my/find to find out which off-site vaccination centers are nearby, and then call the hotline for details on booster shots. The public is encouraged to book an appointment ahead of time to prevent wasting time waiting and to reduce congestion.
