The Meteorological Bureau has issued a thunderstorm warning, and thunderstorms will occur in many states in the country until the evening.
According to the information released by the Malaysian Meteorological Department at 3:40 pm on September 19, 2023, thunderstorms will occur in many states in the country until around 7 pm.
The affected states include Perlis, Kedah, Perak, Kelantan, Pahang, Terengganu, Selangor, Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya, Negeri Sembilan, Johor, Sarawak and Sabah.
When rainfall in an area exceeds 20mm per hour, or is expected to last for more than one hour, the Meteorological Bureau will issue a thunderstorm warning.

5. Terengganu (Hulu Terengganu, Dungun dan Kemaman)
6. Pahang (Tanah Tinggi Cameron, Jerantut, Kuantan dan Rompin)
7. Selangor (Kuala Selangor, Hulu Selangor, Klang, Gombak, Petaling, Hulu Langat dan Sepang)
8. WP Kuala Lumpur
9. WP Putrajaya
10. Negeri Sembilan (Seremban dan Port Dickson)
11. Johor (Segamat, Muar, Batu Pahat, Kluang, Pontian, Kulai, Kota Tinggi dan Johor Bahru)
12. Sarawak: Sri Aman, Betong (Pusa, Betong dan Saratok), Sarikei (Sarikei dan Meradong) dan Limbang
