The KWSP dividend could be announced on February 28th (Monday)!
According to Sin Chew Daily, the Employees Provident Fund (KWSP) is expected to announce the latest dividend payment ratio at noon on Monday, February 28. Members can verify how much dividends they will receive using i-Akaun when KWSP releases dividends.
KWSP usually announces dividend details on the third or fourth Saturday in February, however this year, KWSP may follow a normal practise and release dividend details on February 28, which is the last day of the month.
In the first nine months of last year, EPF earned RM48.02 billion, a 7.7% increase over the same period in 2020. The payout ratio for KWSP is expected to be in the region of 5.20 percent to 6.00 percent, according to economists.
The highest interest paid by the Employees Provident Fund (KWSP) in the last 69 years was 8.50 percent in 1983-1987. With a payout ratio of 2.50 percent, the years 1952-1959 had the lowest payouts.
