Only 31 cases of Covid-19 vaccination side effects for kids so far.
The country’s children between the ages of five and eleven have reported 31 serious adverse effects following vaccination (AEFI) for Covid-19, according to the Ministry of Health (MOH).
As of August 2, a total of 1.76 million children, or 49.8% of all youngsters, have gotten at least one dose of the Covid-19 vaccine, according to deputy health minister Datuk Dr. Noor Azmi Ghazali.
He said that the AEFI-affected kids had received the proper care at the hospital and were now back at home. The majority of them displayed common symptoms like fever as well as discomfort and swelling at the injection site.
A baby who is breastfed for at least six months has a lower risk of acquiring major illnesses including hand, foot, and mouth disease, according to Dr. Noor Azmi (HFMD).
He stated earlier in his address that the Baby-Friendly Hospital, Baby-Friendly Clinic, and breastfeeding support groups were all included in the National Plan of Action for Nutrition of Malaysia (NPANM), which is the framework for breastfeeding programmes.
Every healthcare facility has a breastfeeding support group that is established with assistance from the Ministry of Health, which also provides training for the group’s members.
