The government will announce the Lunar New Year SOP on January 19!
According to the Ministry of National Solidarity, the Lunar New Year Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) will be announced on Wednesday, January 19, which will include the time and number of people who will visit temples and religious sites to pray for blessings.
The government has announced that people will not be banned from crossing the state before and after the Lunar New Year, and people can also reunite for reunion dinners, and restaurants are allowed to hold small gatherings. However, large open-door events are still not allowed to take place.
Last year’s Lunar New Year coincided with a serious epidemic, and the vaccination for coronary disease had not yet begun, so the government forbade people to travel across the state for New Year’s Eve, and relatives from 10 kilometers away were not allowed to have reunion dinners together. In addition, lion and dragon dances were not allowed to take place.
At that time, many people were looking forward to this year’s Lunar New Year, and this year, the government also said that people would not be banned from crossing the state, which is a fulfillment of people’s wish last year.
For more details on the Lunar New Year SOP, please look forward to the announcement on January 19.
