The flood had an impact on six Kuantan long-distance bus routes.

The management of Terminal Sentral Kuantan (“TSK”) announced in a Facebook post this morning that six long-distance bus journeys have been affected by the flooding that has disrupted access to several sections of roads in Pahang due to inundation and collapsed road surfaces.

The authorities pointed out, as of 10:00 a.m. this morning, the following six long-distance bus routes are affected: Kuantan to Muar and Batu Pahat (SANWA long-distance bus company); Kuantan to Johor Bahru Rakin (SANWA long-distance bus company); Kuantan to Melaka (SANWA long-distance bus company); Kuantan to Johor Bahru Rakin (PLUSLINER long-distance bus company); and Kuantan to Johor Bahru Rakin (LA Holidays long-distance bus company). Passengers who have any questions can call the Trip AdminTSK (Trip Management Unit) at the bus terminal at (012-9503762) to inquire about changes to their trips. They will update the Facebook comments section from time to time if there is an increase in the number of trips involving flooding.
