Singapore and Malaysia have finally introduced and implemented the Vaccinnated Travel Line (VTL) programme, which allows vaccinated people in both places to travel freely without the need for quarantine!
Bookings for designated VTL flights between Singapore and Malaysia are now open, with Air Asia, Malaysia Airlines, Singapore Airlines, Scoot, Jetstar and Malindo Airways offering six daily flights to and from Singapore.
The following rules apply.
1. Passengers must have completed 2 doses of vaccination (children under 12 years of age may enter with those who have completed vaccination, subject to WHO approval at the time of vaccination)
2. Passengers must travel on the designated VTL flight
3. Departure from Singapore/Malaysia must ensure
– 14 days or more of continuous stay in Singapore/Malaysia prior to flight
– PCR test (S$138) within 2 days prior to departure
– PCR test on arrival at Kuala Lumpur airport (RM250), pre-registration and payment at BP Health required
