1. Hang up the phone first.
Assuming that it is a bank-related transaction, it must be e-mail, SMS, etc. received at the first time, so hang up the phone first, inquire whether there is any bank notice such as “unpaid”, and then wait for the other party to call, explain his purpose, and verify whether it is the same as the information on e-mail/SMS.

2. Observe the calling number.
Telephone from the bank, the other party must call the customer during office hours, and must use the company telephone number! So, when you receive this kind of call, stop and have a look at the phone number type of the other party. If it is a private number, it is simple and just hang up!

3. Don’t call the bank with the same mobile phone number.

Suppose that the swindler successfully made you fall for it by telephone communication, and then you should never use the same telephone number to dial the bank if you realize that you have been cheated! This is to prevent the hacker of the other party from being skilful and turning the line back to his own channel so that you can fall into a double scam!
What you should do is borrow a phone from your family/friends and call the bank.

4. Call an effective hotline.

Banks provide a variety of services, and even customer service hotlines are classified! In addition to dialling the kind of “turning around” mechanical hotline, in fact, many banks have a “crime hotline”. Take Maybank as an example, this crime hotline is not only directly dialled to the “living”, but also online 24 hours a day, and even can be called for holidays! Then you don’t have to wait until tomorrow morning to call the bank’s customer service ~

5. Eliminate suspicious contacts.

If the bank has something to inform you, it will contact you without using WhatApps! Therefore, if WhatApps receives strange information claiming to be from the bank/winning a prize/giving you something /Part-time, you can reasonably doubt it! Don’t fall for it. Hey ~
