MyDebit Cash Out will charge 50sen from July!
MyDebit Cash Out will begin charging an RM0.50 fee on July 1st!
MyDebit Cash Out is a service that allows users to withdraw cash in stores by going to a specific store counter, swipe their card, and then withdraw money. The MyDebit Cash Out service is similar to the cash withdrawal service provided by an ATM, but MyDebit Cash Out is provided at a specific store’s counter.
Only a few stores in Malaysia currently offer the MyDebit Cash Out service, and Giant is one of them. When using MyDebit Cash Out at the Giant counter, you can only withdraw up to RM500 per transaction, and there is no additional handling fee.
However, beginning July 1, 2022, the public will be charged an RM0.50 handling fee when using MyDebit Cash Out to withdraw funds. All domestic banks, including CIMB, Alliance Bank, Bank Islam, OCBC, HSBC, Standard Chartered, and Maybank, support the MyDebit Cash Out function.
Other MyDebit services, such as DuitNow, JomPAY, DirectDebit, FPX, and Interbank GIRO, are free of charge.
