The SSPN is expected to announce its dividend next week.
The Education Savings Fund (SSPN), a government-run savings scheme, has been announcing its dividend in February in previous years, but last year it was delayed until April, and this year it is expected to announce its dividend in the first week of April.
This year’s dividend is expected to be announced in the first week of April. It is generally expected that this year’s dividend will be higher than last year’s 3.05% p.a., and ideally, it may be more than 3.50% p.a.
SSPN was established to encourage people to save for their education in advance, and SSPN depositors will be able to enjoy many benefits, such as interest on deposits, insurance coverage, personal income tax rebates, death benefits, medical coverage, and so on.
It is important to note that SSPN is divided into 2 types of plans, Simpan SSPN Prime and Simpan SSPN Plus. Simpan SSPN Prime is a savings plan, which allows free deposits and withdrawals, while Simpan SSPN Plus is an insurance plan, which requires regular monthly deposits, a portion of which will be used as an A portion of the deposit will be used as insurance premium.
