Recently, a shocking murder case occurred in a five-star hotel in Bali, Indonesia. A Chinese couple in their 20s died in a hotel room when they were both naked.
The Intercontinental Hotel in Jimbaran, Koli Island, is where the accident took place. At the same time, local media reported that at around 6:43 am on May 1, the hotel lobby staff received a call from a guest, saying that he heard another guest calling for help in the corridor, and the hotel staff rushed to help. When they arrived on the scene, they discovered the dead man lying in the hallway with numerous wounds, blood, and no clothes on. The workers then used the room’s lavatory. The deceased woman was discovered in the bath towel, naked and hurt.
The female victim had traces of entanglement around her neck and bruises on her forehead, while the male victim had cuts on the left and right sides of his neck, as well as his left foot. The hotel room (room 4223) was later discovered to have been reserved by the deceased woman. CCTV footage additionally showed that the deceased woman arrived at the hotel alone at around 8:00 p.m. on April 30 and left in the early hours of May 1. The male deceased met the female deceased in the hotel lobby at approximately 12:17, and the two then went back to their room together.
The male deceased also briefly left the room around 12:50 am and later came back.
The hotel staff member also went to the room to bring food at around 1:17 in the morning but left after placing the meal the visitor had requested in the room, and there was no unusual activity.
The dead man was captured on camera crawling out of the room while still covered in blood before passing away in the hallway at 6:32 in the morning. They currently only know that the two deceased were lovers who had been communicating for a long time through acquaintances of both parties. The murder that followed has not yet been looked into.
Both of those who died were Chinese citizens, according to confirmation from the Chinese Consulate General in Denpasar, Indonesia. Li Chiming, a 25-year-old man from Guangxi, was the male victim; Cheng Jianan, a 22-year-old woman from Jiangxi, was the female victim.
