The Selangor State Government will announce the application process for the RM1000 Flood Relief Grant on December 27!
According to a message from Selangor State Minister Datuk Seri Amiruddin, the state government will announce the application process for the Sleepy Ah assistance grant on December 27 (Monday), and each affected family will be eligible for the RM1000 grant.
The state government is currently working on the application procedure for the RM1000 flood assistance to facilitate the victims to receive timely assistance. The Selangor government has received many inquiries on how to apply for the flood assistance and many people have asked about the documents required for the application.
The state government hopes to cut down on red tape and bypass multiple agencies in order to speed up the process of applying for assistance.
Flood victims will not only receive RM1000, but will also be exempted from paying their water bills for 1 month. If your home is in the flood affected area, you will be exempted from paying your water bill for 1 month. This is to allow victims to clean their homes without worry.
Families of those who died in the floods are entitled to a RM10,000 pension from the Selangor State Government.
