Selangor State Government will launch Selangor Life Insurance Scheme (INSAN), according to a message from Selangor State Minister. Under this scheme, people will be entitled to RM10,000 in the event of death, accident and disability.
Selangor Life Insurance Scheme (INSAN) is available to people in Selangor from the age of 30 days to 80 years. As long as you are born in Selangor or are registered as a Selangor voter, you will be covered.
There is no premium to be paid and people are covered. The Selangor Government will fully fund the premiums to ease the burden of people’s lives. Six million Selangorians will benefit from this scheme. Insured persons will be covered up to RM10,000 depending on their level of disability.
Registration for the scheme will be open from 1 October 2022.
