The second phase of the BKM will be released on Monday, June 27, 2022, according to Finance Minister Tunku Zafrul, who said that the BKM will be released for nine days, from June 27 to July 5.
Under the second phase of BKM, a total of 8.6 million people will benefit, namely 4 million families with a monthly income of up to RM5,000, 1.2 million widowed and single elders with a monthly income of up to RM5,000 and 3.4 million single people with a monthly income of up to RM2,500.
Due to the large number of beneficiaries, the BKM grant will be distributed in phases, with the family group being the first to receive the grant, followed by the singles. The whole process will take 9 days, from June 27 to July 5.

Citizens can also visit https://bkm.hasil.gov.my/ and log in to their MyBKM account to check the status of their remittance.
