Primary and secondary schools will enjoy 2 more school holidays in the second half of 2022, in September and December.
This is the first year that primary and secondary schools will have three school terms in a school year, which means that the 1st term is from March 21 to June 11/12, the 2nd term is from June 12/13 to September 10/11, and the 3rd term is from September 11/12 to March 11/12.
Students and parents can refer to the school schedule and holidays released by the Ministry of Education and start to arrange their travel schedule for the second half of the year.
Group A: Kedah, Johor, Kelantan and Terengganu
Semester 2 School Holidays: Friday, September 2 – Saturday, September 10
Semester 3 mid-term break: December 9 (Friday) – December 31 (Saturday)
Semester 3 Final Holiday: February 17 (Friday) – March 11 (Saturday)
Group B: Perlis, Penang, Perak, Selangor, Negeri Sembilan, Malacca, Pahang, Sabah, Sarawak, Kuala Lumpur, Labuan and Putrajaya
Second Semester School Holiday: September 3 (Saturday) – September 11 (Sunday)
Semester 3 mid-term break: Saturday, December 10 – Sunday, December 31
Semester 3 Final Holiday: February 18 (Saturday) – March 12 (Sunday)
