Perodua hybrid car rental service for RM500 per month.
The gasoline-electric hybrid Ativa Hybrid is available for rental from Perodua for about RM500 per month.
The Ativa Hybrid, Perodua’s first hybrid vehicle, has been introduced. The Ativa Hybrid, which has the e:Smart Hybrid technology, is the identical twin of the Daihatsu Rocky Hybrid.
A 1.2L normally aspirated three-cylinder engine, two electric motors, and lithium batteries make up the e:Smart Hybrid petrol-electric system from Ativa Hybrid. The 1.2L self-igniting three-cylinder engine produces a maximum torque of 105Nm and 82 HP. The two electric motors have a combined horsepower of 106PS and 170Nm.
The 1.2L three-cylinder naturally aspirated engine’s sole function is to produce electricity to power the electric motor, which in turn stores the generated electricity in the 4.3Ah lithium battery to power the vehicle.
300 buyers will lease the Ativa Hybrid instead of buying it. The Ativa Hybrid may be owned by participants in this campaign for a maximum of five years or 100,000 kilometres, after which it must be returned to Perodua. All costs, including as maintenance, road tax, and insurance, will be covered by Perodua.
Customers must make an upfront payment of RM2,150 and a subsequent monthly payment of RM500. The customer must pay a fee of RM32,150 after 5 years. The 300 customer cap has already been reached.
To undertake research and better understand the driving practises of automobile owners in the Klang Valley, Penang, and Johor Bahru, Perodua brought in 300 Ativa Hybrids. Consumer acceptance of the five-year membership service is also understood.
