People urged to stay alert as 6 states may see continuous heavy rain!
According to the information issued by the Meteorological Department of Malaysia, there will be heavy rainfall in Perlis, Kedah, Penang, Kelantan, Terengganu and Perak, and there may be flooding. The affected dates are from November 21 to 27, 2021.
The low pressure climate will be in the northeastern part of the Malayisa Peninsula, and a monsoon surge is forecast for the same period. This situation will lead to rainy weather and consequently flooding.
The public is urged to be sensitive and vigilant as the Meteorological Department will continue to monitor the weather conditions and issue warnings of continued rainfall if needed.
