One week to go! The 2022 Qatar World Cup is about to begin.
According to the official Qatar 2022 World Cup schedule, the group stage will be held from November 21 to December 3, 2022, and the knockout stage from December 3 to December 18, 2022. The final will be held at 11 p.m. on Dec. 18, 2022.
There is a five-hour time difference between Qatar and Malaysia, so most of the World Cup matches will be held in the late afternoon to early morning Malaysian time. The group stage matches will be held at 6pm, 9pm, 12am and 3am Malaysian time, while the knockout matches will be held at 12am and 3am Malaysian time. Malaysians will have to stay up late if they want to watch the knockout matches.
RTM will broadcast 41 Qatar World Cup matches, 27 of which will be live and the rest will be delayed, on three television platforms and one online platform.
The three TV stations are TV2, TV OKEY and RTM SPORT, while the online platform is RTM Klik. RTM will broadcast the matches from Malaysia, a country with a large fan base and a high ranking.
