Floods are caused by heavy rain in numerous areas in Ipoh.
Since this evening, there has been nonstop, severe rain, and it has flooded various areas.
According to a representative for the Perak Fire and Rescue Department, the Perak Badminton Academy, Bandar Meru Raya, and the Ulu Chepor area were all reported as having flooded.
At the Badminton Academy, every victim left the building on their own; no victim has yet been evacuated. The fire department is still keeping an eye on the flooding conditions there.
More serious flooding will happen if the heavy rain keeps up. Be ready for a second wave tonight and anything else.
