It turns out that FF9 is not the most expensive!
In celebration of the bureau’s 77th anniversary, JPJ recently held a competition for the FF series of registration plates, and the response was amazing. There are still certain hot plate numbers with excessive price tags regardless of the deadline.
The most popular one among Malaysians is the number plate number FF9. Additionally, there are online reports that a Malaysian lady successfully purchased the number plate number FF9 for RM909,999.
However, do you know what? Not the most expensive on the market is the number plate number FF9!
The FF8 licence plate, which is the most expensive of the FF series of registration plates, was sold for a high price of RM950,000, according to the Minister of Transportation. The price of the FF9 registration plate was RM911,999, the price of the FF3 plate was RM639,000, the price of the FF2 plate was finally RM638,000, and the price of the FF7 plate was RM633,000.
Only 8,348 of the 34,032 bids for the registration plates, according to the transport minister, were successful. Furthermore, the Land Transport Department received an important amount of money of RM34,296,327 from the FF series of registration plates!
