No more queuing! JPJ plans to launch the JPJeQ electronic queuing system in 2022!

23/10/2021

According to JPJ’s director, JPJ is vigorously promoting digital services. Previously, JPJ launched an electronic bidding system (JPJeBid) that allowed people to apply for license plate numbers online, and now it plans to launch an electronic queuing system (JPJeQ) that will allow people to scan QR codes to get queue numbers and check the status of their waits.

JPJ raised an example to make it easier for people to understand the use of the JPJeQ system. For example, you scan the code to get the 180th number, and the counter is currently serving the 175th customer. The system will inform you that you have to wait for about 20 minutes (5 people), and so you can go out to deal with other business and return to the counter
when it is your turn.

JPJeQ system is piloting in several JPJ branches and is expected to officially launch the system in 2022.

In addition, JPJ has been launching the mySIKAP online system for some time. mySIKAP provides various JPJ services such as renewing driver’s licenses, renewing road taxes and paying traffic tickets. People can renew their driver’s licenses, road tax, etc. through mySIKAP.
