26/12/2021

As 2021 draws to a close, Netflix is gearing up for a series of great movies to make sure we don’t get bored in 2022! Today, I’ve compiled a list of Netflix 2022 movies to see what we can look forward to.

1. Archive 81 air date: January 14, 2022

Archive 81 follows archivist Dan Turner (Mamoudou Athie) as he takes on a job to restore a damaged 1994 video. Filmed by documentary filmmaker Melody Pendras (Dina Shihabi), the tape documents her investigation of a dangerous cult in a Wiesel apartment complex. During the restoration of the tape, Dan Turner finds himself mysteriously connected to her and begins to believe that only he can save her and reverse the terrible ending 25 years ago.

2. Too Hot to Handle Season 3 Air Date: January 19, 2022

Too Hot to Handle has been a global success since its launch in 2020, and the Korean version of “Single is Hell” is now airing on Netflix! The show invites 10 single men and women to an island vacation villa for a special 4-week retreat, where they will receive $100,000 if they are successfully matched. But during their stay at the villa, they are not allowed to kiss, have sex or masturbate and other sexual acts, otherwise the original number of prizes will be reduced and they will also face high fines.

The show will have its third season in 2022, and this time the content will be even hotter, and the price of failure will be higher, and the high prize money may be lost.

3. “Inventing Anna” air date: February 11, 2022

Based on a real-life scam, “Inventing Anna” is based on the article “How Anna Delvey Tricked New York’s Party People” published by journalist Jessica Pressler, which tells the story of Anna Sorokin, a Russian girl who interned at a fashion magazine under the pseudonym Anna Sorokin, a former intern at a fashion magazine, uses social media and sophisticated tactics to present herself as a celebrity to New York’s high society, scamming the celebrities around her while enjoying a life of luxury, and finally succeeding in obtaining a large sum of money from the bank.

In addition to the above known air dates, the Korean drama “Zombie Campus”, “Alice in the Borderland” season 2, “Stranger Things” season 4, “Umbrella Academy” season 3, DC Comics publication “The Sandman” (Chinese translation: Sandman) will also start in 2022, we will wait and see!
