More than 3,200 people had evacuated Pasir Mas because of flooding.

As of 8 a.m. on Wednesday, December 6, 3,260 individuals from 989 households were still listed as flood victims in Pasir Mas. The Social Welfare Department’s Info Bencana webpage states that all flood victims have been relocated to nine relief centres (PPS) inside the district. They are located in Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan (SMK) Gual Periok (153 victims from 41 families), SK Gual To’Deh (792 victims from 258 families), and Sekolah Kebangsaan (SK) Gual Tinggi (590 victims from 108 families). Three more victims are at Madrasah Tasek Bakong (82 victims from 23 families), SK Gual Periok (256 victims from 75 households), and SK Kedai Tanjong (58 victims from 18 families). The PPS at Masjid Mukim Padang Licin is now housing 320 more victims from 119 families, while the PPS at SK Sri Kiambang is housing 345 victims from 107 households.
