MetMalaysia had issued Yellow rain alert
A yellow rain warning has been issued by the Meteorology Department.
According to the Malaysian Meteorological Department, Sabah, Sarawak, and parts of Labuan will get continuous rain from October 27 to October 31, 2022, prompting the Meteorological Department to issue a yellow rain warning.
The coast of Sabah, North and Central Sarawak, and Labuan are all affected. Locals are asked to be cautious and wear rain gear when going out, and those who drive should avoid roads which were the commonplace of lightning and flooding.
The Meteorology Department issues a yellow rain warning when rainfall persists in an area for 1 to 3 days, or when persistent rain/thunderstorms occur but are not yet severe (Buruk) levels.
