A mercy sale will be held to sell 5 kilograms of imported rice at a price not exceeding RM15 or 10 kilograms of imported rice at a price not exceeding RM30.
The Ministry of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living (KPDN) will be organizing Jualan Rahmah in every parliamentary constituency where people can buy imported rice at relatively low prices.
Not only imported white rice but also whole chickens, packaged cooking oil, onions, garlic, eggs, flour, etc. will be sold in the Jualan Rahmah. The people were urged to look out for when the mercy sale would be held in their constituencies.
