Attention! Members will not be allowed to change their withdrawal details after submitting a EPF withdrawal application.

 

According to the information issued by the Employees Provident Fund Board (KWSP), members can submit withdrawal requests from April 1 to 30. Members can check the result of their applications from April 9 onwards, and those who are successful will receive a lump sum withdrawal from April 20 onwards.

 

The EPF Board reminds members to check the information provided when submitting withdrawal applications, as they will not be allowed to change their withdrawal details once they have submitted their applications. Members are also not allowed to cancel their withdrawal requests. Members are urged to double-check the information provided before submitting the application.

 

A member is eligible for withdrawal provided he/she has at least RM150 in his/her EPF account and must retain at least RM100 in his/her primary account after withdrawal.

 

There are 4 things that members need to keep in mind before participating in the EPF Special Withdrawal Scheme to ensure a smooth withdrawal process. The first is that members must register their latest cell phone number in the KWSP system. The second thing is that members are urged to know the amount of their EPF deposits first.

 

The third thing is to ensure that the bank account is still active. The fourth item is that the bank account provided by the member must be in his or her own name, not a joint account or a corporate account.

 

Members can make withdrawal requests through i-Akaun or https://pengeluarankhas.kwsp.gov.my/ (currently not open for viewing) as of April 1.
