24/09/2022

Attention! Maybank will be undergoing system maintenance on September 26th, Maybank’s online services and ATMs will be suspended.

According to the official website of Maybank, system maintenance will be carried out on September 26, 2022 from 3:00 am to 7:00 am. The public is urged to avoid online transactions during this time.

Affected services include Maybank2u and mobile banking services, FPX online payment services, Debit Card transactions, Automated Teller Machines (ATMs), Cash Deposit Machines (CDMs) and Cheque Deposit Machines.

This system maintenance by Maybank is believed to be related to the transfer of Secure2u. According to Maybank, the new Secure2u activation service will be transferred from M2U MY APP to MAE APP, which will be effective from 26 September 2022.

This means that from September 26, 2022, users will only be able to activate Secure2u through the MAE APP and not through the M2U MY APP.

Maybank also recommends users to enable Secure2u feature in MAE APP. Users can enable the function of Secure2u to verify transactions in MAE APP, which can avoid frequent switching between M2U and MAE APP.
