Gardenia will be increasing the prices of its bread and food products from 1 September and many people are wondering if Massimo Bread will follow suit. It is understood that Massimo Bread will be reviewing whether they will increase the prices of their products and will make an announcement within a few weeks.
Massimo already increased its bread prices in January this year and has not ruled out further price changes in the future.
In January, Massimo increased the price of 400g white bread from RM2.38 to RM2.80 and 600g white bread from RM3.35 to RM4.00. 400g wheat germ bread increased from RM2.48 to RM3.00 and 600g wheat germ bread increased from RM3.71 to RM4.25.
The price of 400g fine wholemeal bread was also increased from RM2.73 to RM3.30 and 420g wholemeal bread was increased from RM3.40 to RM4.10. 55g sandwich bread was also increased from RM0.84 to RM1.00.
Let’s wait and see if Massimo will announce another price increase.
