How many days do you need to work to buy iPhone 15 Pro 128GB?
The Picodi e-commerce platform released the iPhone Index survey report, which uses the local price of iPhone 15 Pro 128GB to calculate how many days of salary local citizens need to pay to afford it.
Picodi also obtains the average monthly salary information of local citizens from official or statistical websites in different countries, and divides the monthly salary by 21 (the average working day in a month) to calculate their daily salary.
This report shows that Malaysians need to work for 30.7 days to buy the iPhone 15 Pro 128GB. Last year’s report showed that Malaysians had to work for 29.2 days to buy the iPhone 14 Pro 128GB. This year’s iPhone 15 Pro 128GB is priced at RM5,499 in Malaysia, while last year’s iPhone 14 Pro 128GB was priced at RM5,299.
Singaporeans only need to work 6.7 days to buy iPhone 15 Pro 128GB. Last year, Singaporeans needed to work 7.6 days to buy iPhone 14 Pro 128GB. iPhone 15 Pro 128GB and iPhone 14 Pro 128GB are both priced at $1,649 in Singapore.
In the 2023 iPhone Index, Swiss citizens only need to work 4.2 days to buy iPhone 15 Pro 128GB, the United States only needs 5.3 days of work, followed by Australia 6.3 days of work.
In other countries and regions, such as South Korea, it takes 10.1 days to buy iPhone 15 Pro 128GB, Hong Kong 10.8 days, Japan 12.6 days, Taiwan 18.7 days, Mainland China 23.5 days, Thailand 45 days, Vietnam 55.6 days, and the Philippines 79.5 days and Turkey 123.7 days.
