Malaysia is the 3rd country with the worst smartphone addiction problem in the world!

Recently, researchers at McGill University in Canada studied the smartphone usage of nearly 34,000 people in 24 countries around the world between 2014 and 2020.

Research shows that China, Saudi Arabia, and Malaysia are the three countries with the worst smartphone addiction problem.

The paper notes that the researchers conducted a meta-analysis of problematic smartphone use, primarily among young adults.

The subjects were between 15 and 35 years old, with an average age of 28.8 years, and the majority of the subjects were women (60%).

The researchers calculated each country’s worst smartphone addiction problem usage score, with China ranking first with 36.18 and Malaysia third with 35.43!
